We understand that for some students, the desire to obtain advanced certifications is outweighed by the costs in obtaining them. The Computer Technology Training Center now offers three different types of loans to assist these students get the certifications they desire. Microsoft IT Skills LoanAs a Microsoft Certified Technical Education Center (CTEC), the CTTC can now refer students to the Microsoft IT Skills Loan. Offered by Microsoft Corporation and Servus Financial Corporation, students pursuing advanced Microsoft certifications can finance course tuition, books, fees, education-related expenses, and even living expenses while you are taking classes. Microsoft will even help you purchase a computer with a low-rate loan for you to practice and fine-tune the skills you learn. Career Education LoanFor more information, help may be found at http://www.cel.org or at 1-800-244-8750 Key Education CareerLoanComputer Technology Training Center students can also apply for a Key CareerLoan offered by Key Education Resources (http://www.key.com/educate). This is a loan extended to students working full- or part-time and attending school less that half-time. Graduate students are also eligible if enrolled less than half-time.
